About Us
The practice was founded by Dr Albertus Coetzee, whose love for animals and dedication to the people of the Lowveld shaped West Acres into the clinic it is today. Over the years, he mentored many of our team members, inspiring the values of compassion, professionalism, and community care that remain at the heart of everything we do. After retiring in 2025, Dr Coetzee left behind a lasting legacy that continues to guide our work and enrich the lives of both our patients and their families.
Today, we offer a wide range of services at our small animal hospital in West Acres, Nelspruit, and we’re also equipped to travel for equine and wildlife care through our ambulatory service. By continually updating our knowledge and skills, we strive to ensure that every patient receives the very best standard of veterinary care.
